//Many people don’t know that their wireless router often has a thing called WPS. This is Wi-Fi Protected Setup, a feature that is supposed to make it easier to connect wireless devices.
WPS is a bad thing – it’s not very secure and lets people break in and start using your internet. And devices that need to use it are rare.
My advice is just TURN IT OFF!

These emails are everywhere today – so be careful out there!

If someone hacks one of your friends then they have access to everyone you’re friends with unless you set this to ‘only me’
So through no fault of your own you could subject your friends to spams, survey scans and other bad stuff.
Here’s how to set it to ‘only me’

The article on Trustwave’s web site says a password like ‘N^a&$1nG’ can be cracked in about 4 days but ‘GoodLuckGuessingThisPassword’ would take 17 years to crack.
And yes – many people still use ‘Password1’ or their pets, children’s or city name…….just don’t!
